Homemade Mayonnaise made with Meyer Lemon Infused Olive Oil Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 large egg
- 4 large egg yolks
- 1 1/4 cup NOLA Blends Meyer Lemon Infused Olive Oil
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt, plus more to taste
- Fresh ground pepper to taste
Steps:
- In blender (or using hand blender/whisk in stainless bowl) combine the egg yolks, mustard
- Beat on high for 2 minutes or until smooth
- Gradually drizzle in Lemon Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil and beat constantly, until mixture is thick
- Blend in remaining salt and pepper
You can also use different NOLA Blends Infused Olive Oils, to make:
Garlic Mayo, Basil Mayo, Cajun Garlic Mayo, Persian Lime Mayo, Blood Orange Mayo
(Great on Burgers, Sandwiches, chicken, fish, shrimp, salads and pasta salad)
